Windows 10 Tips

Description

Windows 10 is an operating system that drives desktops, laptops, gaming computers and all-in-ones. Tools tiles, integrated search, Cortana (assistant), and security options are all contained within Windows 10 to help the user be safe and productive.

This workshop will cover features and settings of Windows 10 to assist the adult education teacher become more productive and efficient. Depending on requests, topics may include but are not precluded to:

  • transitioning from later versions of Windows or other Operating Systems to Win10
  • the layout of Windows 10,
  • installing apps,
  • finding and opening apps,
  • using Cortana as an assistant,
  • how to change basic settings,
  • troubleshooting settings on Win10, and
  • other topics as time allows or as requested.

OTAN Certificates of Attendance are awarded only for workshop sessions to those that are pre-registered and attend at least 75% of the scheduled time.
