Activity Description

On this page you will find activities for middle or high school geometry. Included activities cover Hidden Irrationals, Hidden Polygons, Isosceles Triangles, Pythagorean Theory, Golden Ratio, and Cylinder Volume. Use these to supplement your geometry lessons.

Preparation

  1. Make sure the site is not blocked at your school if you plan to provide student access in the classroom
  2. Review each part of the activity and identify the ones you want students to do.
  3. Check the activity in advance so you know how it works. Some require computers and some are printable activities, so you may need to make copies before class.

How-To

  1. Introduce the geometry topic you are teaching.
  2. Assign students the appropriate supplemental activity.
